Close Up III: Fear of Failure

At one stage or another, most of us have succumbed to the negative thoughts that like to discourage our career choice, threaten our potential projects and hinder our professional opportunities. Granted, this is usually after a [insert drug of choice here] or two… but they’re never far from the proverbial peripheral vision.

So: can we avoid these obvious pitfalls or should we just accept failure as part of success?

Our third Close Up seminar ‘Fear of Failure’ will delve into these concepts with talks, debate and q&a orchestrated around an exhibition curated from our on-going campaign ‘This Is What A Photographer Looks Like’ .

Surrounded by self-portraits, self-doubt (and wine of course), we’ll discuss whether as creatives we’re victims of our own negativity, architects of our own demise or just simply born to fail?
